Things you can do from our Estate

Hiking

Bali Style Lodge is in the most perfect location to go hiking, (without even using your car)
A private path in the Estate leads to the security gates, cross Rhodes Drive and you are in the mountain, with endless walks and hikes. Follow the road up the back of the mountain for an easy ascent of Table Mountain, to the dams. Alternatively you can walk to Kirstenbosch on the back route, or traverse to Cecilia Waterfall.

 In front of our Estate, is a Nature Reserve which is perfect for walking.

Explore the Constantia Wine Farms

Great wine farms, such as Buitenverwagting, Klein Constantia, Constantia Uitsig are a short distance away

Offering spectaular scenery, fine cuisine and cultural history, they all provide a wonderful outing for any visitor

Consider visiting Constantia Glen, a five minute drive away, whose vineyards are part of your view.

Visit Constantia Village

Visit Kirstenbosch

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is world renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. 

Hout Bay

Hout Bay, or the Republic of Hout Bay as it is affectionately known by locals, is a fantastic sea-side neighbourhood in Cape Town that offers something for everyone, any day of the week. From walking on the beach, taking a boat trip or visiting the World of Birds.

The Bay Harbour Market is open every Friday 5-9pm and Saturday/Sunday 9:30am-4pm for the happiest shopping in Cape Town!

Cecilia Waterfall Hike

A two minute, drive from the gate towards Kirstenbosch, takes you to the Cecilia parking lot, (Hohenhort turnoff) and from here, you can walk up the river on the right, along serene paths next to a mountain stream. The Cecilia waterfall, which is more spectacular after rains, is a beautiful spot in the mountains, and reached after about an hour of hiking. Following the river upwards.
